Gentle Yoga

All levels welcome, teen to adult

Sanitized mats and props will be provided, but feel free to bring your own mat.

Yoga doesn't have to be about touching your toes or making your body look like a pretzel. In fact, let's simplify things a bit and instead do yoga to stay mobile and centered. This class will emphasize functional movements to make sure your body stays healthy as well as mindfulness techniques to take care of your mind. Class will be taught pairing breath and movement while taking you through a series of standing, seated, and balancing poses. Modifications will be offered, making these classes accessible to all abilities.

These outdoor classes will be held in good weather only. No rain dates.

About the instructor:

Samantha completed her 200-hour training in 2018. In 2019, she continued her education with 50 hours of Foundational Yin Yoga training. She's currently enrolled in Lexington Power Yoga’s 300-hour training, and also being certified in Balanced Athlete and ball rolling! She's always reading, learning, and working with master teachers to make sure she brings the latest research into the movement and meditation techniques that she teaches.

From the instructor:

I teach because I hope to give to others even a fraction of what I get from my practice. I want my students to find that when the world kicks their butt, they can tap into their strength, resilience, and balance to get right back up. And then come to yoga.
