Watercolor Painting

Saturday, August 312:30—4:30 PMMaker SpaceIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801

Formally speaking, in your historic artistic journey of painting, learning Watercolor usually begins right after you learn how to draw. Through it, you are supposed eventually learn some of the main steps in the studying of Oil Painting. Today we also have established other mediums such as Acrylic painting in which Watercolor has currently helped in the progression.

Many artists just like to do watercolors as it is, as it is a welcome relaxing media for many of us. The brush flow of watercolor feels softer than the other paint mediums and is usually always a relaxing medium

Joseph will show you the different forms of Watercolor Painting, the many techniques, and will present some hands-on classes of painting specific items. There are a ton of techniques and styles for you to enjoy!

Any watercolorist at all levels will gain a lot from these important classes.

This class is open to adults and teens.  All necessary materials will be provided.

Please note, this is a 5 part class. Each class is progressive, so when you register for the first class, you automatically will be registered to attend all the classes in this series. Attendees should expect to attend all or most sessions.

This program is sponsored by the Woburn Public Library Foundation.

Please note: When someone does not show up for a program they are registered for, they are taking away an opportunity for another member of the community. Patrons who are registered for an event they cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for programs two (2) times without notice will be grounds for being waitlisted for 30 days. Patrons who arrive 5 minutes or more after the program start time will be considered no-shows. They may be denied access after that time, and their spot may be given away to people on the waiting list.

Registration for this event has now closed.
