Come join in the fun and holiday cheer as the Woburn Public Library presents the Merry Minstrels' performing music, songs, and dance of Christmas and Winter in "Tis the Season - a Holiday Celebration in Song". The program will include songs and carols with origins in a variety of times and places as well as familiar favorites for all to Sing-Along. 

The Merry Minstrels presently include Woburn residents Clare Hurley and Darlene Wigton; Sheila Foley from Stoneham; John Chambers and Shelley Drowns from Waltham; and Kathy Touzian from Belmont. The various instruments we play include guitar, accordion, flute, fiddle, banjo, ukulele, whistle, and bodhran, with three of us who are also vocalists. For this 2023 Holiday program we will be joined by the Lexington Historical Society Dancers who perform 17th & 18th century social dances and other historical dance styles.
