The Ghost of Pandora's Manor: An Immersive Murder Mystery for kids aged 8-12

Tuesday, December 17:00—8:00 PMOnline

Get excited for this holiday season at Pandora's Manor!

Rumor has it that some tourists went missing while visiting Pandora's Manor. The locals and police haven't dared to investigate because word has it there is a ghost that roams the premises. We have been hired to enter and sleuth out what has actually happened so the mystery can finally be solved. If we combine our deductions, we can find out what really happened. Can you solve the mystery and find a way out? I don't believe in ghosts. Do you?

If your child loves mystery themed novels and detective shows, then this class will give them the chance to test their critical thinking skills in hypothetical situations based in fantasy and reality. They will learn how to excel in puzzles and riddles and will find themselves using lateral thinking to be more creative in their guesses. The puzzles and riddles will involve colors, wordplay, shapes and math.

A bit about the class:

The mysteries will be presented to the class through images and text on the screen. The presenter will narrate the story and explain each puzzle, encouraging students to use what they see or hear to make informed guesses. They will look for misdirections, and break down the steps necessary to solve the puzzles. Then, they will share and debate hypotheses with their classmates ultimately working together to solve the mystery before class ends.
