Stop by the library to sign up for our Summer Reading Program and celebrate the start of summer!

Play lawn games, make a friendship bracelet, do a scavenger hunt, get an airbrush tattoo, and enjoy tasty treats.

Everyone who attends can enter to win raffles for prizes!

What's happening where?

Ground Level:

• Children’s Room – All day children's summer reading registrations, children's scavenger hunt, and friendship bracelets.
• Program Room – Enjoy lawn games, mega LEGOs, and other playtime fun from 1-3 PM.
• Ground Floor Lobby – Visit the Friends of the Library for tasty treats and check out the book sale from 1-3 PM.

Main Level:

• Circulation & Reference Desks - All day adult summer reading registrations.
• Teen Room - All day teen summer reading registrations and games.
• Maker Space – Show your style with airbrush tattoos from 1-3 PM.
• Richardson Gallery (Fireplace Area) &  Frizzell Study Hall – Come meet talented local authors at the Local Author Book Fair, or participate in the adult scavenger hunt for additional chances to win prizes from 1-3 PM.
• Historical Artifacts Room – The Mauritius Campaign: Historical Reenactments in Miniature from 12:30-4:30 PM.
