Sensory-Friendly Storytime

Wednesday, May 2910:30—11:30 AMStorytime & Craft RoomIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801

Join Miss Sam for 30 minutes of gentle songs and stories followed by sensory playtime. Fidgeting and roaming are welcome.

This storytime is for everyone, but is particularly designed for neurodiverse children: children who are autistic, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes. Book choices geared toward preschool interest level. Siblings are welcome.

Devin Ellsweig, a speech language pathologist from Chatterboxes, will join us during playtime to share resources and chat about all things speech, language and listening! Chatterboxes is a neurodiversity affirming private practice covering the Woburn area for services in natural environments. All Chatterboxes services are strengths-based, family-centered, and individualized with an emphasis on empowerment and advocacy from birth up. Feel free to come with questions!
