Saturday, September 109:00—10:00 AMProgram RoomIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801

Join Kat every Saturday morning from 9-10 on the front lawn (weather permitting) for a stretch

and restore class. This class will include functional movement, stretching, mindful breathing,

and a slower pace. Encouraged for all levels.

Yoga isn’t about being able to balance on your hands. This practice is about being able to create stability within, be playful, experiment, and take that not-so-serious attitude out into the world. Join Kat (RYT 200 through Yoga Alliance at LPY Yoga & Barre) every Saturday from 9-10am at the library to not just workout, but slow down, feel your breath, and re-center.

*Please bring your own mat and equipment.

About Kat: My name is Kat, just like the yoga pose. I’m a yogi, meditator, and writer. I first began my asana practice back in 2012. I have been practicing, not perfecting, ever since. In 2021, I completed my RYT 200 through the Yoga Alliance at LPY Yoga & Barre. As someone who has struggled with mental health my whole life, yoga has been a solace. My mentality towards yoga has changed over time from just a workout to a place I could slow down, feel my breath, and recenter. As I cultivated more mindfulness and meditation, I realized the power breath holds. Through these practices I found myself more grounded, calm, and regulated. Different resources of yoga expand far beyond popular culture or westernized ideation of what yoga is. Personally, it took me many years to realize this. Yoga isn’t about being able to balance on your hands. This practice is about being able to create stability within, be playful, experiment, and take that not-so-serious attitude out into the world. I hope you can come join me.
