Pro Makeup Prep and Prime with Makeup Artist Ann Marie Laurendeau

The products you apply to your skin prior to makeup are just as, if not more, important than your actual makeup application. Properly prepping and priming the face, eyelids, lashes, and lips means that your makeup products will go on more smoothly, last longer, and not seep into fine lines. These steps will also make your pores less noticeable and give your skin a matte or dewy texture. You’ll learn how to choose a primer for our skin type, how to layer moisturizers and primers evenly, and which products I recommend, based on your budget and skin type.
Sanitation Practices:
Makeup classes are tutorial demonstrations. Sanitation supplies and disposable application tools are included. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own makeup products and brushes to use on themselves during the class.

Please note: When someone does not show up for a program they are registered for, they are taking away an opportunity for another member of the community. Patrons who are registered for an event they cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for programs two (2) times without notice will be grounds for being waitlisted for 30 days. Patrons who arrive 5 minutes or more after the program start time will be considered no-shows. They may be denied access after that time, and their spot may be given away to people on the waiting list.
