Parenting 101: Picky Eating
Tuesday, November 77:30—8:15 PMProgram RoomIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801
This caregiver class provides the opportunity to learn about expanding upon a child’s typical diet, and ways to manage picky eating during early childhood. A pediatric occupational therapist will discuss strategies to appropriately challenge kids to interact with less preferred foods and build greater comfort/flexibility at mealtime. Program will share ways to realistically integrate new foods into a family menu, and will discuss when families challenged by selective eating may benefit from extra/therapeutic help.
This program is for adults to get information, but we understand it is not always possible to get childcare. Infants are welcome if they are held or in a carrier. If you plan to come with an older child, please bring something they can play with during the presentation to keep busy. Thank you!
