Owls Up Close

Thursday, April 186:00—7:00 PMProgram RoomIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801

Join Marcia and Mark Wilson from Eyes On Owls as they present their live owl program, "Owls Up Close". It’s New England’s favorite wildlife program!

This unique presentation has been a library favorite for decades! For young audiences, the show starts with an interactive reading of a big book version of “Owl Babies” (runs 45 – 60 mins). The magic continues when everybody sees each of 6 live owls up close, as they perch safely on Marcia's glove close to the audience. And everyone gets to practice the owls’ calls during lively hooting lessons! The Wilsons highlight the owls’ unique adaptations, habitats and behaviors in the wild, while sharing tips on how you can find owls near you. Questions are taken once the owls come out. This program is for all ages. Registration is required.

Attendees may purchase copies of Mark's award-winning book, Owling, and The Snowy Owl Scientist, signed and personalized by the author, in person after the program or by emailing mailto:eyesonowls@earthlink.net. Each book is available for $20, cash or credit.

Registration for this event has now closed.
