CANCELED - Oil and Acrylic Painting

Saturday, October 52:30—4:30 PMMaker SpaceIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801

Oil Painting used to be the top in the historic artistic journey of painting. It was after you became familiar with the proper drawing techniques and after practicing Watercolor for a good while. Oil Painting, now along with Acrylic Painting, has a major fundamental scope and directive that the other two mediums contribute to, but in most cases has a more tested impressive effect, base of utility, and additional artistic knowledge.

There are many different types of Oil/Acrylic painting levels that you can convey to suit your own style. Joseph will start you with the basic rules and all of the initial steps, the tools, the grounds, the theories, mediums, and especially the paints. All of which should bring you up to any stage of the process you may like and further!

Painting with oil and/or Acrylic has a more direct feel to it. Some of these hands-on classes will present it to you. If you are doing Oil or Acrylic painting now or would like to learn all the important variant essentials, especially the harmful areas to stay away from, then you will want to take this significant class!

This class is open to adults and teens.  All necessary materials will be provided.

Please note, this is a 5 part class. Each class is progressive, so when you register for the first class, you automatically will be registered to attend all the classes in this series. Attendees should expect to attend all or most sessions.

This program is sponsored by the Woburn Public Library Foundation.

Please note: When someone does not show up for a program they are registered for, they are taking away an opportunity for another member of the community. Patrons who are registered for an event they cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for programs two (2) times without notice will be grounds for being waitlisted for 30 days. Patrons who arrive 5 minutes or more after the program start time will be considered no-shows. They may be denied access after that time, and their spot may be given away to people on the waiting list.
