Matting and Framing

Saturday, June 222:30—4:30 PMMaker SpaceIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801

Okay, so you’ve been to all the framing places and found out how expensive it is to do custom framing for your artworks or what-have-you’s. Many artists do not realize the understanding and amount of work that goes into doing the matting and framing of their works properly.

If you’re a person who does not mind putting in a little bit of work, or someone who may want to take in a little bit of it to save a lot of money, then sign up now!

Joseph will show you the how’s and ways of doing it all. He will discuss the processes involved to present your artwork and/or photography, or for that matter, any items, to make them all look awesome!

This class teaches you all of the various concepts of framing. From picking the proper style frame, cutting matts, specific glass, and properly putting it all together for you to have a spectacular presentation!

One beautiful presentation for you to hang in your home, or to sell!

This class is open to adults and teens. All necessary materials will be provided.

Please note, this is a 3 part class. Each class is progressive, so when you register for the first class, you automatically will be registered to attend all the classes in this series. Attendees should expect to attend all or most sessions.

This program is sponsored by the Woburn Public Library Foundation.

Please note: When someone does not show up for a program they are registered for, they are taking away an opportunity for another member of the community. Patrons who are registered for an event they cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for programs two (2) times without notice will be grounds for being waitlisted for 30 days. Patrons who arrive 5 minutes or more after the program start time will be considered no-shows. They may be denied access after that time, and their spot may be given away to people on the waiting list.

Registration for this event has now closed.
