Join Ewa Erdman, a local children's author, for a special storytime that's fun for the whole family! Jeanne will do a reading of her story Buffy the Three-Legged Pit Bull and talk about her journey to become a published children's author. This program is for all ages! Registration is required.
Ewa Erdman had retired from Harvard University when she unexpectedly found a whole new career as a result of adopting Buffy. Over the years they were constantly invited to participate in children's readings, civic groups, fundraisers, patient service, etc., from Vermont to Delaware. After the book was published, Ewa donated all the proceeds of sales to animal shelters, resulting in thousands of dollars for their use. In short, as it turned out, after a lifetime of working at jobs that she truly enjoyed, jobs that challenged her, and jobs that benefited others, she considers her work with Buffy to have been the most important work of her career.
