Join us for a series of art workshops showcasing traditional Indian art traditions with live virtual demonstrations from artists in India, moderated in-person by Swati Biswas.  Each session will include an introduction to each art form, a live demonstration from the artist, and templates to create your own piece in that tradition with supplies provided.

This series is presented by the Artsy Way of Life.

Everyone will have a chance to meet the artist (virtually), receive instruction via Zoom, and attendees will be encouraged to paint along with the artist or paint as their own pace after the event using provided templates.  A detailed video link will be shared with all attendees after the workshop.

We are hosting three sessions on Saturday mornings. The doors will open at 10 AM, and the instruction will start promptly at 10:15 AM.

Mass Cultural Council

This program is funded in part by a grant from the Woburn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Please note: When someone does not show up for a program they are registered for, they are taking away an opportunity for another member of the community. Patrons who are registered for an event they cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for programs two (2) times without notice will be grounds for being waitlisted for 30 days. Patrons who arrive 5 minutes or more after the program start time will be considered no-shows. They may be denied access after that time, and their spot may be given away to people on the waiting list.

Registration for this event has now closed.
