Improv Workshop for Adults
Tuesday, December 167:00—8:00 PMProgram RoomIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801
In this workshop, participants will learn and practice improvisation activities and techniques that will help to improve expressive language skills as well promote faster thinking and decrease stress. Research has shown that learning improv can help to “retrain” the brain to actively listen, communicate more effectively, be more open to ideas, and work collaboratively. Plus, because improv is a lot of fun, it is a great stress reliever as well. Participants in Adult improv workshops find that they laugh a lot and that getting in touch with their creative sides brings them peace and happiness. Presented by Meredith Charles, proprietor of Drama out of the Box. Free. No experience necessary.
