Flexibility Training

This class is for people aged 8+. As with any physical exercise, please pay attention to your body's limits. If you are new to exercise, do not push your body past its comfort level. This three-day flexibility workshop is primarily aimed people with an interest in becoming more flexible (such as dancers, gymnasts, acrobats, martial artists). But anybody can follow along by participating to their own comfort level.

This three-day flexibility program is a comprehensive and well-rounded workout regime that combines stretching, coordination and strength. The class will begin with some light movement to get muscles warm. Then participants will transition into stretching, to loosen up the muscles. The stretching exercises will focus on opening up the legs, hips and back.

About the Instructor:

Coach Rebecca is a teacher of rhythmic and artistic gymnastics. She's trained for 15 years at a USA Gymnastics National Team Training Center. She's also been teaching stretching classes for 5 years now, helping the inflexible become flexible!

Disclaimer: Students are required to have an open workout space, wear socks or dance shoes, wear tight clothing that does not hang off of the body, have a water bottle nearby, and do adequate stretching beforehand.
