We know that banking can be confusing and even complex at times. At Salem Five, we want to help simplify financial topics so people and businesses can make the best decisions. Please join us for an information session to help unravel various financial categories. Some of the themes we aim to cover include:

• Building Credit ★ what you can do (or not do) to improve your credit standing.
• Home Ownership ★ building credit is your first step, but hear about some grants and other ways to make homeownership a reality.
• Banking 101 ★ get back to basics with how/when to open an account, what type is best for you, using checks, debit cards and generally managing your account.
• Business Ownership ★ getting started with EIN #s and dissecting the different business accounts available and how/when to access credit.
• Retirement ★ it’s never too early (or too late) to get prepared for retirement. Hear about different tools, including those with tax-deferred benefits that can assist.
