Ever dreamed of being a fashion designer, or been inspired by shows like Project Runway? Even if you don’t know how to sew or don’t have a sewing machine – that’s no problem! In this class, students will learn the fashion design process from start to finish and find their own design voice. Students will create a mood board of inspirational images, learn to sketch garments on fashion croquis and learn to hand sew mini-garments. All the garments will be worn and presented at the end of the session on our mini-models during our final runway presentation. Think of it as a real-life fashion show, with clothes sewn by you, but all in small scale! Please be prepared to commit to attending the full six-week course. Intended for Teens and Adults. Registration Required. In the Makerspace.
