Artist-In-Residence: Poetry Workshop with Ann Taylor

Friday, December 610:00 AM—12:00 PMMaker SpaceIn Person at Woburn Public Library45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA, 01801

Welcome! Let's make poetry!

These sessions on making poetry will involve reading poems together, followed by a discussion of the basics of writing poetry. Students will then have the opportunity to work on their own poems, either those previously written or new poems written during class time. Models and writing prompts will be available on a variety of possible subjects – places, people, travel, nature, memories, dreams, health, pets, for example. Ann will then provide some one-on-one guidance as students continue to develop their craft.
